Below is two articles one about MGR and Devar friendship. Chinnappa Devar produced “Thaikupin Tharam” in 1956 with the lead as MGR. The movie was super hit. He continued to produce movies with MGR as a hero. Devar films is the only production to have produced 16 MGR movies including one colour movie Nalla Neram.
